The woman who was killed early Sunday morning when she was struck by a Union Pacific freight train in Riverside has been identified as Alyssa Rayne McCroskey.

McCroskey, 16, was a Riverside resident.

Railroad officials investigating the accident were reviewing a video taken from train's engine compartment to determine why McCroskey was on the tracks, said Zoe Richmond, a spokeswoman for Union Pacific.

I remember one tie Aly had just gotten out of the shower- no makeup, wearing pajamas, hair still wet- so she crossed her room to pick up a tiara,and said someething like, "See? I'm a princess. It doesn't matter wat I ook like." Then she just smiled at me, and blinked. :)

Aly made me smile. I miss her.
