No words can express my anger!!

Diane M. (Jul 01, 2008)

That Austrian "thing" they call a man needs to be in prison and sent to a dungeon with no windows for the rest of his pathetic life!! And for his wife, I think she knew very well that over the years, those children that he 'brought home' were his. How could this man's wife put up with it for more than 25 years, I'll never understand. If I had been in her daughter's situation (which I never wish on anyone but her father), I doubt I could forgive my mother for allowing the abuse to continue. I am just sick at heart about the whole thing!!

That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it!

This is both sad and extremely disturbing. I hope that man never sees the light of day again. My best wishes to Elizabeth and her children. Although I'm not sure I can wish the best to the wife, not knowing whether she actually knew what was going on or not. This is wrong on so many levels.

Inappropriate idea

Rebecca (May 23, 2008)

I don't see the relevance of 'inventing' a baby who was born and died at the Fritzl house on April 29th 2008. It seems to be misguided however well intended.
Perhaps dedicating a site to allow people to express their genuine heartfelt good wishes for Elizabeth, Kerstin, Stefan and Felix the REAL victims here would be more appropriate and fitting. They will never be able to take back the years which were lost in captivity but will hopefully find happiness and progressive recovery in the new life ahead of them.
I find this 'baby Fritzl' idea to be in very poor taste...such voyeuristic sentimentality is pointless. If Elizabeth Fritzl were aware of this 'site' I'm sure it would distress her. Please reconsider replacing this page with a more positive one in which well wishers may convey their support for the REAL victims and not a fabricated baby which never existed. Or at the very least to the memory of Michael the twin who died aged three days. Think about it!

In Remembrance

Amy (May 14, 2008)

Baby Fritzl immediately went to heaven upon death. I can't imagine anything more horrific than living through what he could have. I, too, am relieved the baby didn't have to endure what the rest of the family did. My prayers and thoughts remain with Elisabeth and her family. I was a victim of incest when I was young and it is never the right thing to do. I love you, Elisabeth. You will get better just be patient with yourself.

You are in a much better place than you would have been if you had survived.
