From the moment that I first drew breath, and the first time you held me against your chest, I know you said I was "Daddy's girl" and that at that moment I was your whole world, as you were mine.
There are so many things to say, I know there is no other way, now that your gone except to write, and so I will try with all my might.  To tell you how much I loved you so, I hope that somehow you will know.  How much strength you've given me of character, love, and family.  How much your care has shaped my life and how much more I wish to write about your kindness and your love, my happiness in loving you. 
I want to thank you for all you've done to make me the person that I've become.  Somehow this seems so little, too late, but the words will flow, they will not abate.  My children now will be to you a loving legacy, and though they didn't know you well they will know you through me.
You made so many people happy in your life.  We are all bereft without your light.  I want to say that you have blessed my life with love and tenderness.  I hope that you are looking down and what you see will make you proud.  I remember all the lessons you taught, of laughing often, and being kind, following your dreams, and taking time to be with those whom I love, and leaving the rest to god.  You taught me to believe in myself, to never give up, and always to live life to the fullest.  I love you Dad I hope you knew, I hope that you have found your rest in God's love at his behest.  I will never stop hoping we will meet again....
